What is interesting about Amsterdam (and also other dutch cities) is that there are many animals on the streets, which just sleep or simply roam around.
As many know are the Netherlands famous for their lights production industrie.
I was fascinated by light in different ways, both by the fancy bulbs and also by beautiful sunsets by the sea.
The Netherlands have the highest relative number of bikes, fietsen in dutch, compared to its population. There are about 18 million bikes and nearly 17 million habitants.
Interesting about the bikes in the Netherlands is, that there are so many variations, that you hardly see two of the same kind. Even if the bikes are from the same manufacturer and are the same model, the chances are high that the ways to customise the bike are enormous. Below is a small fraction of the colourful bikes, which get cycled around everyday.
Beside light bulbs are boats and waterways the characteristic features of the Netherlands. I assume that without those, it would be very time consuming to bring things from point A to point B, as most streets are not wide enough for every vehicle.
Although there are historic centres in Amsterdam and other cities, many buildings are newer and more modern. Below are some Buildings placed in Almere, Leiden and Amsterdam. They have the weirdest shapes, textures or colours.
Beside all those marvellous things are the Netherlands offering much more. Those are for example …
Everything about the Netherlands was essential to my conclusion, that this wasn’t the last time visiting the country. There are so many more things to see and experience that there is a necessity to go again there as soon as possible.
